Κόκκινα πασχαλινά αυγά – Red Easter eggs (video), by Akis!

• Βάζουμε τα αυγά σε ένα μπολ και γεμίζουμε με νερό. Τα καθαρίζουμε με ένα σφουγγάρι κουζίνας για να φύγουν τυχόν βρωμιές.
• Απλώνουμε ένα απορροφητικό πανί σε μία κατσαρόλα και βάζουμε τα αυγά σε δόσεις. Γεμίζουμε με κρύο νερό μέχρι να καλυφθούν τα αυγά, βάζουμε το ξίδι και σιγοβράζουμε σε χαμηλή φωτιά για 10 λεπτά.
• Αφαιρούμε από τη φωτιά και αφήνουμε 15-20 λεπτά να κρυώσουν.
• Ακολουθούμε την ίδια διαδικασία για όλα τα αυγά.

Για το βάψιμο

• Σε ένα μπολ βάζουμε το νερό, το ξίδι, την κόκκινη βαφή και ανακατεύουμε καλά μέχρι να λιώσει η βαφή.
• Βάζουμε τα αυγά κάνοντας μια στρώση στο μπολ και αφήνουμε για 3-4 λεπτά.
• Αφαιρούμε με τρυπητή κουτάλα και αφήνουμε να στεγνώσουν.
• Με αυτή την ποσότητα μπορούμε να βάψουμε 25-30 αυγά.

Για το λάδωμα

• Βάζουμε σε ένα απορροφητικό χαρτί λίγο ελαιόλαδο και περνάμε τα βαμμένα αυγά για να γυαλίσουν.
• Σερβίρουμε.

• Place the eggs into a bowl and fill with water. Clean them with a kitchen sponge to remove any dirt.
• Spread a sponge cloth into a pot and add the eggs in batches. Fill with cold water until the eggs are covered, add the vinegar, and simmer at low heat for 10 minutes.
• Remove from the heat and allow 15-20 minutes for them to cool.
• Follow the same process for all of the eggs.

For the dyeing

• In a bowl add the water, the vinegar, the red dye, and mix well until the dye melts.
• Add the eggs, in batches, and leave them in for 3-4 minutes.
• Remove with a slotted spoon and let them dry.
• With this quantity, you can dye 25-30 eggs.

For the polishing

• Add a little olive oil onto some kitchen paper towel and polish the dyed eggs.
• Serve.
